Set up drinks before the movie starts

Set reclining seats to the intended position and leave the mechanism clear. Use a separate table that does not move with the seat.
Separate remotes and drinks
A remote-control search should not run through the drink area. Give remotes and snacks their own space.
Check the exit route
Keep drinks away from the path people use to leave the room. Choose a visible spot rather than placing an open drink on the floor.
